counselling and psychotherapy for young people and adults

I offer psychotherapy and counselling for young people and adults, as well as play-based therapy for children, working from a light and spacious room at Hawkstone House in the centre of Hedben Bridge.

About me

Having gained my Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Minster Centre in 1995, I worked as an adult psychotherapist in private practice in London for 11 years. I have also worked for a number of children’s charities.

I was manager at Friends United Network, a children’s befriending charity in North London. I managed The Place2Be in Burnley, East Lancs, offering counselling and emotional support to primary school children.

I have a wide range of experience and skills in play-based therapy for younger children, counselling for young people, and supporting parents under stress.

I have worked with vulnerable single parent families, with families going through contact proceedings, with troubled primary school children, and as a counsellor in a secondary school.

I have worked in private practice in Hebden Bridge since 2010. I am UKCP registered.
